A while ago someone brought up the Lifegem process, by which the carbon from the remains of one's loved ones could be converted into diamonds. At the time I laughingly suggested that perhaps the whole clan could be gathered into one setting to form the 'family jewels'. It seems that no idea is too absurd to market:
